A social approach

At Forêt Bleue, we believe that the private sector should have a social responsibility, that every company should seek to have a positive impact on our society. This is why we have partnered with PRO, a private company with a social mission that employs people who are usually excluded from the labour market, especially because of a disability.

The Forêt Bleue products are numbered, labelled and packaged by these people, who then prepare the packages for shipment. Yes, it costs more than the robots of the internet giants, but it makes sense to us.

The idea behind this approach is that work is a tool for social integration, and that everyone has skills to offer in appropriate working conditions and with adequate supervision.

An ecological approach

We take an ecological approach in the choice of:

Our raw materials, our products being natural and biodegradable. We also favour raw materials derived from green chemistry techniques, such as the recovery of food waste to extract active ingredients or extraction with supercritical CO2.

Our containers are made of transparent glass, which can be recycled ad infinitum.

Our production method, by hand and in small quantities to avoid waste.
