In cosmetics, the term "hydration" is often used interchangeably to describe products that nourish and moisturize the skin. However, in the strict sense of the term, "hydrating" the skin means supplying it with water. Thus, a moisturizing product in the strict sense is one that brings water to the skin. When oil-based products, such as facial oils, are referred to as "moisturizers", this is actually a misuse of the term. Nevertheless, this usage is justified by the fact that oily products create a protective barrier on the surface of the epidermis, slowing down dehydration by limiting water evaporation. For optimum hydration, we therefore recommend using a water-based moisturizer, followed by an oily treatment to seal in the moisture.

Our moisturizing serum is formulated with mango extract and aloe vera, as well as an upcycled active ingredient from avocado. Its action provides hydration by stimulating hyaluronic acid synthesis and increasing epidermal volume.

With its light, absorbent texture, this serum quickly penetrates the skin without leaving a greasy residue. Suitable for all skin types.

Here's how we recommend combining our moisturizing serum with our other skin care products:

Dry and mature skin: apply before apricot sap for ++ well-sealed hydration.

Normal, combination and oily skin: combine with crème safran for ++ light moisturizing.

Adapt your routine according to the season! In hot weather, for example, the serum alone can be perfectly sufficient to moisturize the skin without making it sweat.

Morning and evening, after cleansing and lotioning, apply to face and neck and massage thoroughly. Follow with Crème Safran or Apricot Sap to seal in moisture.

Avocado: our serum contains an eco-designed active ingredient derived from the upcycling of downgraded avocado oilcake rejected by the food industry. This concentrate of active molecules stimulates endogenous hyaluronic acid synthesis and increases epidermal volume.

Mango: rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, notably vitamin A and beta-carotene, mango is known as an excellent natural moisturizer, providing soft, supple skin.
